ANALISIS KETERAMPILAN KOMUNIKASI APOTEKER DALAM MENYAMPAIKAN INFORMASI OBAT
Abstract
Komunikasi yang efektif antara apoteker dan pasien merupakan kunci keberhasilan dalam pemberian informasi obat serta pelaksanaan terapi farmakologis yang optimal. Apoteker tidak hanya bertugas menyerahkan obat kepada pasien, melainkan juga memiliki tanggung jawab untuk memberikan edukasi, konseling, serta menjawab pertanyaan yang berkaitan dengan penggunaan, dosis, efek samping, dan interaksi obat. Keterampilan komunikasi yang baik sangat dibutuhkan dalam proses ini, termasuk kemampuan menyampaikan informasi secara verbal dan nonverbal, memahami kebutuhan dan persepsi pasien, serta menggunakan bahasa yang mudah dimengerti. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan komunikasi apoteker berdasarkan tinjauan pustaka dari berbagai jurnal ilmiah. Temuan dari studi pustaka menunjukkan bahwa meskipun apoteker memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup, masih terdapat tantangan besar dalam hal keterampilan komunikasi, terutama terkait keterbatasan waktu, kurangnya pelatihan, serta kendala budaya dan bahasa. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya peningkatan pelatihan komunikasi berbasis pasien (patient-centered communication) dalam pendidikan profesi maupun praktik klinis agar pelayanan farmasi menjadi lebih efektif dan berdampak pada peningkatan kepatuhan serta keselamatan pasien.
