STUDI LITERATUR: PERAN TEKNOLOGI BAGI PENDIDIKAN DALAM REVOLUSI 4.0
Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dengan kajian kepustakaan (Library Research) berusaha menggambarkan fenomena-fenomena yang ada, yang sedang berlangsung atau sudah terjadi pada pendidikan 4.0. Data yang dikumpulkan berasal dari jurnal ilmiah terkait peran teknologi bagi pendidikan dalam revolusi 4.0. Studi ini memfokuskan pada peran teknonologi Pendidikan 4.0 serta kesiapan, keterampilan dan kompetensi yang harus dimiliki siswa dan guru dalam menghadapi dan menjawab tantangan Pendidikan 4.0. Hasil studi menunjukkan revolusi Pendidikan 4.0 memungkinkan proses pembelajaran berlangsung tanpa batas spasial dan temporal, artinya pembelajaran tidak hanya berlangsung di dalam kelas dan selama waktu belajar dan terdapatnya trend baru dalam terkait Pendidikan 4.0. Teknologi Pendidikan memiliki banyak peran dalam revolusi Pendidikan 4.0 ini seperti teknologi augmented dan virtuality (AR/VR), Steam education, pengembangan media belajar berbasis teknologi, dan teknologi pembelajaran modular. Hal ini perlu disikapi dengan berbagai kesiapan, keterampilan dan kompetensi yang harus dimiliki guru dan juga siswa untuk menghadapi dan menjawab tantangan Pendidikan 4.0
