DIBALIK KETAKUTAN AKAN KEDEKATAN: PENGARUH SELF ESTEEM DAN FATHER INVOLVEMENT TERHADAP FEAR OF INTIMACY PADA GENERASI Z DI KABUPATEN KARAWANG
Abstract
Generasi Z tumbuh dalam kemajuan digital yang intens, tetapi justru rentan mengembangkan fear of intimacy, yaitu kecenderungan menghindari kedekatan emosional karena kekhawatiran terhadap penolakan atau kerentanan diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-esteem dan father involvement terhadap fear of intimacy pada Generasi Z di Kabupaten Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kausalitas, dimana pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu Generasi Z, dengan rentang usia 14–29 tahun, yang berdomisili di Kabupaten Karawang. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 355 responden dengan teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik convenience sampling. Instrumen menggunakan tiga skala psikologis, fear of intimacy diukur dengan skala FICQ, self-esteem diukur dengan skala RSES dan father involvement diukur dengan skala FIS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-esteem dan father involvement memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap fear of intimacy pada Generasi Z di Kabupaten Karawang.
