VIRTUAL REALITY DALAM KONSELING: ANALISIS BIBLIOMETRIK DAN SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW TERHADAP PUBLIKASI TERINDEKS SCOPUS (2020–2025)

Abstract

Perkembangan Virtual Reality (VR) telah mendorong transformasi layanan konseling menuju intervensi digital yang lebih imersif, interaktif, dan adaptif. Meski demikian, penelitian mengenai perkembangan VR dalam konseling masih terbatas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komprehensif perkembangan penelitian mengenai penggunaan VR dalam layanan konseling melalui pendekatan hybrid yang mengintegrasikan bibliometric analysis dan systematic literature review (SLR). Proses seleksi artikel dilakukan menggunakan pedoman PRISMA. Sebanyak 277 artikel terindeks Scopus dianalisis secara bibliometrik menggunakan perangkat lunak VOSviewer versi 1.6.20, sementara 26 artikel hasil seleksi lanjutan terhadap dataset bibliometrik dianalisis secara mendalam dalam SLR. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa publikasi mengenai VR dalam layanan konseling mengalami peningkatan signifikan, terutama pasca-pandemi COVID-19, yang mengindikasikan bahwa topik ini masih sangat relevan dan memiliki peluang pengembangan yang luas di masa depan. Selain itu, penelitian dari negara berkembang juga masih relatif terbatas. Analisis tematik menunjukkan bahwa VR banyak diimplementasikan untuk intervensi gangguan kecemasan, fobia, PTSD, depresi, stres melalui berbagai pendekatan seperti AI, nature, art therapy, dan game. Efektivitas penggunaan VR dalam layanan konseling dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, seperti sense of presence, kualitas interaksi terapeutik, dan usability teknologi. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya kompetensi konselor, kesiapan teknologi, dan pengembangan intervensi yang adaptif terhadap konteks budaya di masa mendatang.
