Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the growth and contribution of domestic and foreign tourist visits to regional original income in Banyuwangi Regency. The data used in this study is secondary data on visits by domestic and foreign tourists, and regional income of Banyuwangi Regency in 2013-2022. After calculating the growth in each variable, followed by analyzing the data using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that the growth in tourist visits has fluctuated in the last ten, with the highest percentage growth for domestic tourist visits in 2016, namely 108.83%, while foreign tourists in 2022, namely 652.98%. The lowest growth point for domestic tourist visits in 2020 was -43.10%, while foreign tourist visits were -85.84% in 2021. Based on an analysis of the contribution of tourist visits to local revenue for the last ten years, they were able to contribute at 61.4 % while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors. This shows that the tourism sector in Banyuwangi Regency makes a real contribution to local revenue.
