ANALISIS KOMODITAS UNGGULAN PADA SUBSEKTOR TANAMAN PANGAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN DAYA SAING EKONOMI DI KABUPATEN JEMBER TAHUN 2017-2021

Abstract

This study aims to find out what are the leading commodities in the food crop subsector in increasing economic competitiveness in Jember Regency. The theories used in this study are agribusiness, regional economics and natural resource economics. The data used in this study uses secondary data with a span of 5 years, from 2017 to 2021. The method used in this study uses three analytical tools, Location Quotient (LQ), Shift Share (SS) and Growth Ratio Models (MRP). Data is obtained from the official website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Jember Regency and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of East Java Province. The results of this study show that all food crop sub-sector commodities are leading commodities and are able to increase economic competitiveness in Jember Regency. Food crop sub-sector commodities that are the leading commodities in Jember Regency are rice, corn, soybeans, peanuts, cassava and sweet potatoes.
