PENGARUH LINGKUNGAN KERJA, KOMUNIKASI DAN KOMPENSASI TERHADAP PRODUKTIVITAS KERJA DENGAN WORK LIFE BALANCE SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING PADA PDAM TIRTA BALURAN SITUBONDO

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work environment, communication, and compensation on work productivity, with work-life balance as an intervening variable, at PDAM Tirta Baluran Situbondo. The sampling technique used in this study was saturation sampling, which involved 52 respondents. The tool used to analyze the data in this study was Smart PLS 3.0. The data analysis methods in this study included convergent validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, goodness-of-fit (GOF) testing, coefficient of determination testing, structural equation modeling (inner model), and hypothesis testing. The results of the hypothesis tests on direct effects showed that the work environment does not have a significant effect on work-life balance, communication does not have a significant effect on work-life balance, and compensation does not have a significant effect on work-life balance. The work environment does not have a significant effect on work productivity. Communication has a significant effect on work productivity, and compensation has a significant effect on work productivity; work-life balance does not have a significant effect on work productivity. The results of the hypothesis tests on indirect effects showed that the work environment does not have a significant effect on work productivity through work-life balance as a mediating variable; communication does not have a significant effect on work productivity through work-life balance as a mediating variable; and compensation does not have a significant effect on work productivity through work-life balance as a mediating variable.
