Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) play an important role in supporting the local economy, particularly in the Malioboro area of Yogyakarta, which is a center of trade and tourism activities. However, many UMKM owners have not yet implemented regular and structured financial transaction recording, resulting in suboptimal financial management. This community service activity aims to increase the awareness and understanding of UMKM owners regarding the importance of recording every business transaction through the delivery of material and assistance on simple financial recording. The method used in this activity is a participatory approach, consisting of several stages: determination of location and activity planning, preparation of interview instruments, interviews, observation, and documentation for problem formulation, problem solving, as well as delivery and assistance. The subjects of this activity were UMKM owners in the Malioboro area of Yogyakarta. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis. The results show an improvement in the awareness and understanding of UMKM owners regarding the importance of financial transaction recording. UMKM owners began to record daily income and expenses and understood the benefits of financial recording in controlling cash flow and supporting business decision-making. Therefore, this activity is expected to support more orderly and sustainable financial management of UMKMs
