MENINGKATKAN VOLUME PENJUALAN PRODUK UMKM DI PASAR BERINGHARJO YOGYAKARTA MELALUI PENGENALAN DAN PENGGUNAAN TEKNOLOGI QRIS
Abstract
QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) has become a standard for cashless payments based on QR Code, introduced by Bank Indonesia and the Indonesian Payment System Association on August 17, 2019. This technology integrates various digital payment systems, making transactions easier for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This community service focuses on the socialization of QRIS utilization to enhance MSME sales at Beringharjo Market, Yogyakarta. The methods used in this study include observation, interviews with traders, and analysis of the implementation of QRIS in their daily transactions. The outcomes of this service are expected to accelerate the payment process, reduce the risk of cash loss, and increase sales potential by reaching a broader consumer base, including domestic and international tourists. Additionally, QRIS enables easier and faster transactions with just one QR Code for all payment applications, thus improving operational efficiency. Therefore, education and socialization regarding QRIS need to be enhanced so that more traders at Beringharjo Market switch to this digital payment system, while also encouraging participation in a more inclusive and sustainable digital economy.
