PEMBERDAYAAN PROGRAM WIRAUSAHA MERDEKA MELALUI PELATIHAN WIRAUSAHA MANDIRI BAGI MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS ABDURACHMAN SALEH SITUBONDO PADA EVENT RAKYAT CAR FREE DAY SITUBONDO

Abstract

Situbondo Regency is one of the regencies in East Java, which is famous as a center for craft products created by community MSMEs. Currently, Situbondo is recorded as having 13,107 MSMEs in 2017 (Disperindag Situbondo 2017). The Entrepreneurship Movement is a national program designed to increase students' insight, mindset and experience. The importance of entrepreneurship programs among youth, especially students, can open up new business opportunities that can support the availability of jobs in society. Students who took part in this activity consisted of various disciplines including law faculty, economics and business faculty, literature faculty, agricultural science and technology faculty, teaching and education faculty and social science and political science faculty. All of these students are members of a business incubation institution, namely the Center of Entrepreneurship (COE UNARS). Students can practice directly about the production, finance and marketing processes. The Situbondo car free day event is a routine agenda that is held every Sunday. This event is visited by many people as a place to go on holiday to exercise and provide culinary products. The hope is that through this training activity students will have direct experience managing a business independently and be able to manage it with the support of digital media.
