Studi Penerapan Enterprise Resource Planning Dalam Meningkatkan Efisiensi Operasional Semeru Laundry
Abstract
Changes in lifestyle that are increasingly dynamic, particularly in urban areas, have driven a growing demand for laundry services that are fast, efficient, and easily accessible. Semeru Laundry, which operates in Panji Situbondo, was established to meet this demand by offering various services, ranging from kilogram-based laundry to pick-up and delivery services. However, in practice, several obstacles are still encountered in its business processes, such as manual record-keeping, unstructured delivery schedules, and payment methods that are not yet fully digital. This study aims to analyze the main business processes implemented at Semeru Laundry, identify the problems that arise, and formulate technology-based solutions through the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using observation and interview methods. The results indicate that the implementation of an ERP system based on Laundry Box is able to address various operational challenges by providing automated record-keeping, real-time tracking of laundry processes, and convenient digital payment options. In conclusion, the integration of ERP into Semeru Laundry’s operations not only improves internal efficiency but also enhances customer satisfaction through faster, more organized, and more responsive services. This implementation represents a strategic step in the digital transformation of laundry businesses in the modern era.
