SOSIALISASI KEBIJAKAN PEMERINTAH KABUPATEN SITUBONDO PADA PEMBANGUNAN UMKM MENUJU SITUBONDO NAIK KELAS

Abstrak

This socialization explains the regional economic development policy of Situbondo Regency with a focus on the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM). Regional economic development is a strategic step by the government to improve community welfare in a sustainable manner. This socialization uses an interactive dialogue method to convey the strategies and policies of the Situbondo Regency Government in encouraging the growth of UMKM as the main driver of the local economy. The Situbondo Regency Government has implemented various strategies, such as the declaration of an UMKM Regency, UMKM digitalization, increasing access to capital, training and mentoring, and strengthening the promotion of local products. In addition, supporting regional policies, such as Regional Regulations on poverty alleviation and the development of traditional markets, strengthen these economic development efforts. Despite fluctuations in economic growth, the policy direction focused on UMKM is considered capable of increasing the economic independence of the community and supporting the achievement of the vision of "Situbondo Upgrading".
